At school I enjoyed working with numbers, but my focus was always sports. Initially, that is where I saw my future, then life changed course and accounting beckoned. I have never looked back.

I particularly enjoy building relationships with our clients so that we become much more than simply their accountant; we become their trusted advisers. When we achieve that, we can become part of their businesses and their lives.

The accounting profession is going through major change and it is exciting to work with a firm that has grasped the need for change and to ensure we remain at the forefront on behalf of our clients. Fortunately, we have a dynamic team who are great fun to be around.

We are warned against "all work and no play" but it is much less difficult when you simply love coming to work with this team. I also enjoy the occasional run or bike ride as well as dinner and drinks with friends.

• Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & HR (USQ)
• CPA Qualified
• Diploma of Financial Planning
