The Power Tynan Charitable Trust was established in 2010 to give back and make a positive contribution to our community.
Our community strategy includes partner and team donations, sponsorships, community activities, fundraising and volunteering.
We encourage our team to take up roles within community and non-profit organisations, supporting them as they contribute their time to the community through volunteering.
We also run strategic sessions for Committees to help kickstart you or get you ready for the next stage of your Charity or Not-for-Profit’s journey.
Our culture of giving means that we hold regular events and charity activities involving our team to raise awareness and much needed funds. We make a contribution to two worthy organisations every quarter.
We are very proud that since inception of the Charitable Trust, over $200,000 has been paid out over 30 local charities, and we continue to donate a minimum of $12,000 annually.

The Power Tynan Charitable Trust is a Registered Tax Exempt Charity (Registration number is 94 560 056 808). This means that any donations over $2 are tax deductible.
You can make a donation by clicking the button below, tapping on a tap point in our reception or by posting a cheque to our office and we will send you a receipt.
"The Charitable Trust Program supports our ‘Adopt A Room’ Campaign, which enables us to use their funds to maintain client facilities and to provide professional palliative care.
The funding has included: • Fresh Painting • Updating Carpet • Linen • Purchase of furnishings/furniture • General maintenance & upkeep • Clinical consumables • Periodic professional cleaning • 24 hr nursing care • Flowers
I would like to also take this opportunity to commend the staff at Power Tynan for all they do in our local community; not only by way of donations but also for giving up their personal time to volunteer and participate at many community events, and to me this is another important part of the wonderful contribution from Power Tynan’s Charitable Trust!
- Mark Munro, Administration and Fundraising Manager Toowoomba Hospice
The Power Tynan team will select 2 organisations to support each financial quarter. The successful organisations will be notified at the start of the quarter.
