Industry Experience

Philip is a qualified accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Southern Queensland.

He is a Certified Practicing Accountant with a Financial Planning Specialist (FPS) designation, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

After completing his degree Philip worked as a senior accountant at Power Tynan, becoming a Director in 2001. Philip then developed and led the Financial Planning division of Power Tynan.

Phil is a director of Power Tynan Pty Ltd, which is the entity that manages the office of RBS Morgans Limited in Toowoomba.

Philip is remunerated by way of base salary and a share of the profit of the Toowoomba office as a shareholder in Power Tynan Pty Ltd.

Investment Style

Philip focuses on areas of planning that include estate planning, risk protection and portfolio management for companies, individuals, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds targeting long term investment growth and tax effective income.
