Grants are now available through the Queensland Government in response to the October 2023 Bushfires in the Southern Downs, Western Downs and Toowoomba regions.

As at today, 8 November 2023 the available grants are:-

1. Emergency Hardship Assistance
2. Essential Services Hardship Assistance
3. Essential Household Contents Grant
4. Essential Services Safety and Reconnection
5. Structural Assistance Grant

Community Recovery Hubs are available for residents who are experiencing hardship can receive assistance from Community Recovery workers to apply for grants and obtain emotional and wellbeing support; for more details refer to the above link.
