History

Power Tynan was established in 1969 when Peter Power bought a small accounting practice in Stanthorpe. The practice steadily grew during the 1970’s until he was joined by Peter Tynan. It was at this point that the practice became known as Power Tynan.

With the added influence of Peter Tynan the firm again experienced substantial growth, opening offices in Tenterfield and Oakey, and eventually the Toowoomba office opened in 1992, starting with a staff of one.

The practice became incorporated to our current structure, and after the purchase of the Roma office in November 2010, we now have in excess of 65 staff over the various divisions. Power Tynan can now offer our clients all aspects of financial advice as we have grown to be a complete Financial Solutions Practice.
